چکیده

Abstract Crystalline silicon (c-Si) heterojunction (HJT) solar cells are one of the promising technologies for next-generation industrial high-efficiency cells, and many efforts in transferring this technology to high-volume manufacturing photovoltaic (PV) industry currently ongoing. Metallization is vital importance PV performance long-term reliability HJT cells. In review, we summarize development status metallization approaches For conventional screen printing technology, avoid degradation passivation properties amorphous layer, a low-temperature-cured (< 250 ℃) paste process needed. This process, turn, leads high line/contact resistances costs. To improve conductivity electrodes reduce cost, multi-busbar, fine-line printing, silver-coated copper pastes have been developed. addition, several potential such as Smart Wire Contacting Technology, pattern transfer inkjet/FlexTrailprinting, electroplating, discussed detail. Based on summary, challenges these analyzed.

Novel high-efficiency crystalline-silicon-based compound heterojunction solar cells: HCT (heterojunction with compound thin-layer).

With an amorphous silicon (a-Si:H)/crystalline silicon (c-Si) heterojunction structure, the heterojunction with intrinsic thin-layer (HIT) solar cell has become one of the most promising technologies for c-Si based solar cells. By replacing a-Si:H thin films with appropriate compound semiconductors, we propose novel heterojunction structures which allow c-Si heterojunction solar cells to posses...

Capacitance spectroscopy in hydrogenated amorphous silicon Schottky diodes and high efficiency silicon heterojunction solar cells

In this thesis, research on a-Si:H Schottky diodes and a-Si:H/c-Si heterojunctions is presented with the focus on the capacitance spectroscopy and information on electronic properties that can be derived from this technique. Last years a-Si:H/c-Si heterojunctions (HJ) have received growing attention as an approach which combines wafer and thin film technologies due to their low material consump...

Hydrogen-doped indium oxide/indium tin oxide bilayers for high-efficiency silicon heterojunction solar cells

The front transparent conductive oxide layer is a source of significant optical and electrical losses in silicon heterojunction solar cells because of the trade-off between free-carrier absorption and sheet resistance. We demonstrate that hydrogen-doped indium oxide (IO:H), which has an electron mobility of over 100 cm/V s, reduces these losses compared to traditional, low-mobility transparent ...

Heterojunction silicon microwire solar cells.

We report radial heterojunction solar cells of amorphous silicon on crystalline silicon microwires with high surface passivation. While the shortened collection path is exploited to increase the photocurrent, proper choice of the wire radius and the highly passivated surface prevent drastic decrease in the voltage due to high surface-to-volume ratio. The heterojunction is formed by depositing a...
